Everybody had a Rubiks Cube in the early 80's. Invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik, the Cube was mass marketed in 1980. So far, over 250 million Cubes have been sold around the world, mostly to people who think it will make them look brainy if they put it on the coffee table.

Maddenly difficult to solve, some people took pride in solving them against the clock, proving that logic was involved.

I have always thought of these people as sad losers. Don't they have anything better to do? Do they seriously think that if they solve a puzzle in less than a minute they will get laid?
